Does the filmmaking community know something the rest of us don't? Because I've seen two movies in the last week that show the world coming to an end. I probably shouldn't mention one of them because it's fairly under-the-radar and I'd be spoiling the ending but it has been widely reported that it gets apocalyptic in "Melancholia," the Lars Von Trier film that stars Kirsten Dunst and that opens November 18 here.
